The National Milling Company of Guyana Inc (NAMILCO) won the Gold Manufacture Award for Quality, presented by the Guyana National Bureau of Standards in the National Quality Awards 2017 – Large Business Category.
This award, in its inaugural year, recognises local businesses that have demonstrated commitment towards quality by implementing recognised standards and best practices. This scheme is the catalyst which allows businesses, for the fist time, to compete in areas related to Quality, which are key for sustainable and competitive businesses.
